It's All in Your Mind
It's true. A very special teacher of yoga and meditation once said that the body is the most outer point of the mind, and the mind the most inner point of the body. We must recognize that the combination of body and mind are key to our ability to exercise deeply, intently, rigorously. If we are distracted, under slept, anxious, our practice will not merit the kind of results we're looking for. When we exercise together we must harness a proper culture of attentiveness, not too tight and not too loose, so we can push, press and pull intensely without compromising the formal integrity of the exercise.
Exercise here at Threshold Fitness Beyond the Physical should be a refuge from the distractions of the day, an opportunity to have a small break to recharge, take care of oneself, cultivate a quality of health and well-being that you can take outside to benefit others and engage with confidence.
If we keep our mind right and bright the body will follow!
